Quran and the Bible

Question: How are passages of the Quran similar to those in the Old Testament, but with different meanings?

This subject is a very contentious area;

The Torah, Old Testament to Christians, is almost Identical in its wording, but not its understanding by Jews and Christians!

The Jews do not accept that the New Testament is a valid God Given Document!

The Jews do not acknowledge Jesus as Messiah; which is where they departed company with Christians at Acts 28:25–28, which had been prophesied in Isa. 6:9–10!

Christians who accepted Jesus as Messiah are part of Christ's Body at His 2nd Advent.

The Jews are still looking for their messiah, who they teach will be human, not Divine; and when he arrives for them, will fight for their survival and prominence!

Jews at the present time are “Lo-Ammi”; a temporary condition; which will reverse when the events of Zech.12:10 are enacted!

The Quran acknowledges Jesus as a “prophet”!

The major differences in the Quranic teachings, are those from the Shia Division, and those of the Sunni Division.  The Shia Division is causing concern world-wide, due to the behaviours of their male adherents re. Jews and Christians; as is evident worldwide, and particularly against Israel, as demonstrated on 7/10/23; where slaughter, mass rape, infanticide en-mass, and many other atrocities were committed, in the name of “Allah”!

It has been documented that these behaviours are approved by the various teachers, in various Countries, as part of their “holy writings”, which is almost impossible to believe!!!
